    This research is a descriptive qualitative research to see the mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students during online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were students of SMP N 1 Sarang class VIII, the subjects were selected by purposive random sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained using the interview guide research instrument. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results of students' critical thinking skills are still low, this is evidenced by how students solve problems in the form of story questions. Students have difficulty in solving more complex mathematical problems with varied levels of difficulty. The results of this study can be used as an illustration and benchmark for teachers in preparing learning scenarios both online and offline that are more interesting in terms of learning models and the use of varied learning materials and media

    This study aims to analyze and describe students' mathematical literacy skills in linear program courses during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that has been carried out in the Mathematics Education Study Program of IKIP Budi Utomo. The technique of taking research subjects used purposive random sampling method with research instruments in the form of written tests and interview tests. Based on the research data obtained, it was found that the students of the Mathematics Education Study Program of IKIP Budi Utomo had very good mathematical literacy skills.     This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills in solving problems in class VIII Islamic Middle School Sunan Giri Wagir. The research method used in this study is a qualitative description. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of SMP Islam Sunan Giri Wagir. The data collection technique used was a written test of critical thinking skills and interviews. The result of this study is that subjects with high critical thinking skills can fulfill all existing indicators, namely indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation and inference. Subjects with moderate critical thinking skills can only meet three indicators, namely interpretation, analysis, and evaluation but cannot fulfill the inference indicator. Subjects with low critical thinking skills only met two indicators, namely interpretation and analysis, unable to meet the evaluation and inference indicators

    Analisis Pemecahan Masalah Berbasis Polya pada Materi Perkalian Vektor Ditinjau dari Gaya Belajar

    Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kesalahanpemecahan masalah berbasis Polya pada materi perkalian vektor yang ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Penelitian ini termasuk pada jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan matematika IKIP Budi Utomo Malang yang telah dikelompokkan berdasarkan gaya belajar visual dan gaya belajar auditorial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat dideskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi perkalian vektor adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Subjek dengan gaya belajar visual mampu memahami masalah dengan baik dan merencanakan penyelesaian masalah tersebut, pada tahap pelaksanaan penyelesaian subjek visual kurang teliti dalam mengerjakan sehingga terjadi kesahan operasi, sedangkan pada tahap terakhir subjek tidak melakukan pemeriksaan kembali, (2) Subjek auditorial memiliki kemampuan pemahaman masalah yang baik, selanjutnya dalam tahap perencanaan subjek mampu menentukan rencana penyelesaian masalah dengan benar dan menyelesaiakan masalah dengan tepat, selain itu subjek auditorial juga memeriksa kembali jawaban yang telah diberikan. This research includes the type of descriptive qualitative research. Subjects taken in this study are students of mathematics education program IKIP Budi Utomo Malang which has been grouped based on visual learning style and auditorial learning style. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done can be described the problem-solving abilities in the material vector multiplication is as follows: (1) Subjects with visual learning styles are able to understand the problem well and plan the settlement of the problem, at the implementation stage of the completion of visual subjects less careful in doing so (2) The auditorial subject has the ability to understand a good problem, then in the planning stage of the subject is able to determine the plan of problem resolution correctly and solve the problem correctly, in addition the auditorial subject also check again the answer has been given.     Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Etnomatematika dengan Pendekatan Scientific pada Materi Bangun Datar pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama

    The purpose of this study is to develop ethnomatematics-based student worksheets (LKS) with a scientific approach to flat shapes in junior high school that are valid and practical. The development of the learning model in this study uses the ADDIE development model, because it has simple but clear and easy to understand stages. This model consists of five main stages, namely (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The trials were carried out in class VII A of SMP Kristen Mbara Mbanja in Central Sumba Regency, Mamboro Subdistrict, Wee Luri Village. Based on the trial analysis, it shows that the ethnomatematics-based student worksheets (LKS) with a scientific approach to flat shapes in junior high school meet the valid and practical criteria. The validity analysis shows that the average score obtained is 91.6. The criteria for practicality are seen from the results of the analysis of the subject teacher's assessment with an average score of 96

    Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Web dengan Pendekatan Project Based Learning

    The development of geogebra web-based interactive media using cybernetix boards with a Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach is a process of developing interactive media that can display mathematical concepts needed by students and can combine images, videos, and worksheets in one geogebra web page and display on a web page. cybernetix board that supports media for students to use together. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive learning media and to know the validity of the resulting product. The method used in this research is a research and development method, the design used in the development of this interactive multimedia is a 5-step design model of Borg and Gall. The results of the validation of learning media products from material experts obtained a percentage score of 97.5% with a valid predicate. The results of the validation of media design experts obtained a score of 90% with a valid predicate. The validation of learning experts obtained a percentage score of 97.5% with a valid predicate. As for the results of the assessment research, the percentage score according to the Likert scale 4 table is above 80% - 100%, which means it is in very good qualification. So that the assessment of web-based interactive learning media with a Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach on the material of Constructing Flat Sided Space with the use of geogebra web and cybernetix boards for class VIII E students of SMP Negeri 5 Karangploso according to the percentage of assessments of three validators with three categories of media is able to become media learning support and stated very well

    The ability to memorize the Qur'an at MA Mambaul Ulum Pakis class X still has many scores below the KKM (KKM 65) especially in very similar letters or verses (mutasyabihat). Therefore, an effort is needed to improve the memorization results, namely through optimizing numbers. This study aims to determine the improvement in the results of memorizing grade X MA Mambaul Ulum Pakis students in the 2022/2023 academic year in completing memorization of difficult verses through optimizing numbers. The research subjects were students of class X MA Mambaul Ulum Pakis totaling 40 children. The data collected includes student learning outcomes, and teacher observations. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in one cycle. Each cycle includes 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. In this study, it is said to be successful if at least 85% of students get a score of 65

    The study aims to describe the development and produce an integrated vector analysis module with Prezi that is valid, practical and effective. Development refers to the 4D development model, that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. Disseminate stage is not done in this research because the use of module is only limited to undergraduate students of Mathematics Education IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The developed Vector Analysis module is feasible of use that satisfy all three aspects, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness. The developed vector analysis module has several advantages. First, connect the concept of vector analysis with real life. Second, integrated with prezi-based learning media that support deeper understanding of the concept of vector analysis

    KARAKTERISTIK BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA KELAS VII SMP N 1 KRAGAN DALAM MEMECAHKAN DAN MENGAJUKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA MATERI PERBANDINGAN DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF

    Abstract: The research objectives were to determine and to describe creative thinking characteristic of 7th grade students of SMP N 1 Kragan in solving and proposing problem at comparative case seen from the cognitive style. This research belonged to descriptive research by qualitative-explorative approach. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The subjects being used in this research were 4, those were 2 students with field dependent cognitive style and 2 students with field independent cognitive style. The subject grouping based on cognitive style was taken by group embedded figures test. There were two instruments that were used to collect the data of this research. The first instrument was solving and proposing problem test instrument. The second was interview guidance. They were validated by using the time triangulation test and the reference fulfillment. The data were analyzed using a Miles and Huberman’s concept, that was data reduction, presentation, and conclusion.. The results of this research show as follows, (1) Creative thinking characteristics of students who had field dependent cognitive style in solving and proposing problem were as follows. The fluency aspect was shown by the students through 4 stages of creative thinking process, both in solving and proposing the problem. The four stages were preparation stage, incubation stage, illumination stage, and verification stage. The flexibility aspect in solving problems appeared when the students gave the other alternative answer, whereas this aspect was not fulfilled in proposing the problems.  The originality aspect was not fulfilled in solving and proposing problems. (2) Creative thinking characteristics of students who had field independent cognitive style in solving and proposing problem were as follows. The fluency aspect was shown by the students through 4 stages of creative thinking process, both in solving and proposing the problem. The four stages were preparation stage, incubation stage, illumination stage, and verification stage. The flexibility aspect in solving problems was shown when the students gave the other alternative answer, while in proposing the problem this aspect was not completed because students were able to make only one question. The originality aspect in solving the problem could be seen when the students gave a new way solution and this  was different from the previous one.
